O SZTUCE
Starożytna Aleksandria. Największe i najbardziej wielokulturowe miasto chylącego się ku upadkowi Imperium Rzymskiego. Pogański filozof Synezjusz, uczeń słynnej Hypatii, otrzymuje propozycję nie do odrzucenia: zostać katolickim biskupem. Mimo własnej niewiary decyduje się ulec wpływowi nowej religii. Na jego oczach narasta tymczasem religijny konflikt, który doprowadzi do upadku znanego mu świata.
Tekst powstał w ramach warsztatów Centrum Dramatu Najnowszego Teatru im. Juliusza Słowackiego w Krakowie (2017)

Ancient city of Alexandria. The biggest and most multicultural metropolis of the declining Roman Empire. A pagan philosopher Synesius, pupil and friend of famous Hypatia, receives a problematic proposition: to become a Christian bishop. In spite of his own disbelief he decides to take the position, hoping to protect himself and his family from persecutions. At the same time the world he knows becomes to tremble, shred into parts by religious and ideological conflicts.
The text was created during workshops of the Centre for Contemporary Drama in Teatr im Juliusza Słowackiego in Krakow (2017)
